Cat vomits 2-3 times a week. Dry food or moist doesn’t matter. Cat is short hair. Vomits food or bile

Our Vet Replied:

The cause of the vomiting could possibly be a hairball. On the market there are medications available for hairballs and different laxative products. It is very important to groom your cat every day. For good digestion you need to provide fresh clean water all the time. The first thing I recommend is to administer a diet for hairballs at least 10 - 15 days per month. You can use Hills Hairball Control or Royal Canin Hairball. The best thing to do is for the 10 – 15 days that you administer this diet is to give your cat only this diet and nothing else. Normally your cat should stop vomiting after one - two weeks. If you don’t see an improvement please see your vet.
