Eliminall Spot On for Dogs

Eliminall Spot On for Dogs provides continuous protection to the dogs against fleas, ticks, and biting lice for a maximum period of 4 weeks. This effective treatment not only kills fleas, ticks and biting lice that are present on the dog during application but it also provides protection against flea infestations for 2 full months and a month against new tick infestations.

It kills fleas within a day of administration and ticks and biting lice within 2 days. But there are certain species of ticks that can take longer than 2 days to be killed. This includes Ixodes ricinus or Rhipicephalus Sanguineus which when present while administering of this treatment on dogs, not all these ticks may be killed within the first 2 days of administration. But will take up to 7 days for the treatment.

Manufactured by Pfizer, Eliminall Spot On treatment consists of Fipronil as an active ingredient. It is quite effective against adult fleas and ticks thereby ensuring that they get completely wiped out from the dog's body within a short period of time. It can be effective for a maximum duration of 2 months. But for safety reasons, it is recommended to administer this treatment on dogs on a monthly basis.

Direction of use
  • Draw the pipette out from the triplex bag
  • Catch the pipette in an erect position and then turn and pull the cap off
  • Twirl the cap around and place the other point of the cap back on the pipette
  • Push and bend the cap to break the seal and take the cap off from the pipette
  • Put the treatment on the hairs of the dog in an area between the shoulder blades in such a way that you can see his skin
  • Place the tip of the pipette on the dog's skin and squeeze all the content present in the pipette directly on the skin of the dog in a single spot in case it is a small dog and for large dogs apply on multiple spots
  • Apply the content in a way that the dog cannot lick it
  • In certain dogs, there are temporary changes in dog's coat like clumped or greasy hair along with deposits on the hair at the application site
  • Allow the application site to completely dry out before allowing the treated dog to move outside

Dosage:

Administer this spot-on treatment to the skin of the dog according to their bodyweight.

Treatment Schedule

For best results, schedule the treatment on the local epidemiological situation. The best minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks.

Safety
  • Children and other pets should be kept away from this product
  • Do not administer this treatment on wounded or damaged skin of the dog
  • Ensure that the treatment does not get into the eyes of the dog. If due to some unforeseen circumstances, it goes into the eyes of the pet, rinse the eyes properly with running water.
  • Keep the intact pipettes in the original packaging so that they can be protected from light and moisture
  • Never allow the treated pet to get near other pets or children till the application site dries out completely
  • Never bath or immerse the dog in water after administering the treatment
  • Strictly to be used externally on the body of the dog
  • This treatment does not stop ticks from attaching to the body of the dog. If the dog has been treated before the exposure of the ticks, they will get killed within 24 to 48 hours after attachment.
  • While administering this treatment do not smoke, eat or drink

Contraindications

  • If the dog is hypersensitive to the active ingredient or excipients present in the treatment do not administer it on him
  • Never administer this treatment on cats as it can lead to overdosing
  • Never administer this treatment on rabbits as it can cause adverse reactions and in some extreme cases even death
  • Not recommended for puppies younger than 2 months of age and weighing less than 4 lbs. bodyweight
  • This treatment is not to be administered on sick or convalescing animals
  • To be administered only on dogs and not on any other animal species
