If you want your dog to behave well, you need to make him workout. You can take your dog for a walk in the morning that is about 20 to 30 minutes and also in evening for a shorter walk. There is no need to rush, let your pooch stop smell the roses, stretch his legs. This will help him relieve the stress which makes him going crazy at home.
Make A Routine:
Develop a daily routine, so that your doggy get a proper idea of his activities and calm his nerves. The most important thing is maintaining a consistency, to have positive effects on your dog. You can set a routine something like this:
Early morning: Take for a walk, then breakfast, a game of fetch, then keeping him indoors.
Afternoon: If you are busy at work you can ask your other family member to play a quick with him.
Evening: Offer him the dinner, after he finishes it, then take him for a small walk.
Get Toys To Tease His Brain:
Purchase toys for your furry pal which will make him to use his brain. Bring a toy which make him to think such as: Kong. This toy can be loaded with your dog’s kibble or with some of his favourite foods or treats. He may take time to finish his meal, as this toy will keep him occupied till he manipulates this kong to make him dispense his food.
Building The Bond:
Give training to your dog, get involved in a dog sport like fly ball, agility, freestyle or disc dog; these are the great ways to build a bond between you and your dog. This will physical and mental exercise to your dog. It also helps to keep your mutt cool and calm his nerves.
