CanadaPetCare March Sale 2022

The month of December is designated as National Cat Lovers Month. We’re guessing it’s a month to celebrate us, the humans who adore cats, but we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than doing something cat-related every day. Today we’re discussing the title “crazy cat lady,” so let’s see how many of us fit the profile.

It’s not a sin to be a crazy cat lady! Here are a few indicators that you might be a good fit.

Everyone seems to have that one friend who is madly in love with cats. If no one immediately comes to mind, examine whether you might be the “crazy cat lady” in your circle. If you can identify with more than a couple of the above statements, it may be time to accept your irrational fascination with cats.

1. You Converse with Your Cats

You might be a crazy cat lady if you talk to your cats all the time, especially if you talk to them like they’re humans. And if your interactions with them are more joyful than your interactions with most humans, you are almost probably a crazy cat lady.

2. You’re Always Stopping to Pet Other Cats

Another indicator that you’re a crazy cat lady. You always stop to pet any cats you see when you’re out and about. It makes no difference if you’re in a rush or if you have to go out of your way to do it. You have to pet that kitty. Even if you have to arrive late or rearrange your plans, it will be worth it to make a new kitty friend.

3. You Purchase Gifts for Your Kitties

You purchase your cat a gift for every occasion, whether it’s the holiday season or a birthday celebration. After all, the furry little feline is a member of your family and deserves to be a part of the celebrations.

4. You Can Only Date People Who Like Cats

If you refuse to date or befriend anyone who does not adore cats, you may be a crazy cat lady. Dog folks might as well turn around since not enjoying cats as much as you do is a deal-breaker. Cats are just too essential to you and your life to spend much time with people who do not share your sentiments.

5. You Feed Your Cat Always Better Than You Do

Crazy cat ladies will never hesitate to feed their cats the best and treat them like queens, even if it means sacrificing their own daily meals and requirements. If taking care of your cat is your top priority, you might not notice that you’re eating instant ramen while your cat eats fresh salmon.

6. You Would Not Move If Cats Sit On You

If a cat comes to perch on you when you’re lounging on the couch or laying down to sleep at night, you refuse to move for fear of disturbing them. Even if you need to use the restroom, get a snack, or leave for an appointment, you can’t bring yourself to get up and disturb the cat.

7. You Dress In Cat-Related Attire

If all or most of the apparel in your closet is tied to cats in some manner, you may be a crazy cat lady. Headbands with cat ears on them, cat-shaped earrings, cat-themed t-shirts – you adore cats and want to show it off with your clothing for all to see!

8. You Have A Cat-Friendly Home

Not only is your home cat-friendly, but it is better suited to cats than people. You prioritize keeping your cats happy indoors, and you aren’t hesitant to make changes to your home to accommodate them. In addition to a variety of toys and scratching posts, you’ve installed a “catio” in your yard and vertical areas throughout your home because cats adore them.

9. You Adore Cats

There isn’t another way to put it. If you adore cats, you’re probably a bit of a crazy cat lady. But that isn’t necessarily a bad thing! All it signifies is that you’re an animal lover with a special fondness for your feline companions. Be proud of yourself and spend as much time as you want with cats.
