Monthly treatments can be easy to miss. One dose of Bravecto Spot-on for Cats protects your feline friends nearly 3X (three times) longer than a single dose of any monthly treatment. This means you have fewer treatments to remember and less to forget, giving you peace of mind. If your cat is a picky eater, Bravecto topical for cat is an ideal choice. It comes in a convenient twist-n-use applicator that is applied directly to the skin rather than ingested for hassle-free administration.
If ticks are a significant problem for your feline, Bravecto Spot-on is the treatment you need. According to Merck USA, it is the first US product to offer protection against the Asian longhorned tick, in addition to two other tick species. Bravecto three-monthly treatment helps improve compliance and minimizes gaps in protection for your cat. It is available in three different weight-specific packs to accommodate cats of various sizes.
Bravecto Spot-on for Cats contains the active ingredient fluralaner. After you apply Bravecto, the active formula is absorbed into tissue fluids beneath your cat’s skin. When parasites (fleas & ticks) feed on your cat, they ingest fluralaner. It causes an overstimulation in the nervous system of parasites, leading to paralysis and death of fleas and ticks.
According to a laboratory study referred to in the product label, Bravecto (fluralaner) killed the majority of fleas 8 hours after treatment. It reduced the number of active fleas on cats by more than 90% within 12 hours after treatment or infestation for 12 weeks. The lab studies also indicated that the treatment achieved more than 90% efficacy against tick species 48 hours post-infestation for at least 8 weeks.

Your cat doesn't need to go outside to be exposed to fleas and ticks. Even indoor cats are at risk in your house. Fleas can hitchhike on your clothes and shoes, while the larvae and pupae can stay hidden inside your home for weeks. Also, a few tick species can survive indoors throughout their life cycle.
