Interceptor chewables are a broad spectrum treatment for preventing heartworm infection and treating gastrointestinal worm infection. Interceptor Heartworm Chew for Dogs

Interceptor chews contains milbemycin and praziquantel as the two main ingredients. The active ingredient - milbemycin inhibits the growth of immature heartworms and controls the disease. The other ingredient praziquantel along with milbemycin treats various intestinal worms including roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms. Interceptor beef flavored chews are easy to administer and readily accepted by dogs.

Interceptor - the palatable chew given on the same day, all year around will safeguard the dogs against heartworm infections and the major intestinal worm infections. The tasty chew is formulated to suit all sizes and breeds of dogs.

• The chews are available in four different color-coded packs based on the weight of dogs. Refer the Dosage table for details.
• Dogs will take the tasty beef flavored chews directly by hand. If not then mix with their food and make sure they finish the entire meal to ingest the complete dosage.
• If the dose is not taken fully then give another dose for an effective treatment. Repeat on the same date every month.
• It is safe for 2 weeks and older puppies, adult dogs, pregnant and breeding female dogs.

• Get your pet diagnosed with an existing heartworm infection before using Interceptor chews. If the test report is positive then treat the heartworm disease before starting the preventive.
• Giving Interceptor chews to an already infected dog, a mild transient shock-like reaction may occur. To avoid such health traps consult a veterinarian and take proper guidance before and after the treatment.
• Wash hands after administering the chew.
• Do not give to any other species.
• Keep away from children, edible things and pet feeds.
• Interceptor is safe but in rare cases, it may show unusual reactions. Immediately contact a veterinarian if something typical is observed in the treated dog.
