Frontline Top Spot Flea & Tick Control for Cats

Frontline Top-Spot is a monthly topical flea and tick treatment that is fast-acting and long-lasting. It provides convenient and effective flea, tick, and chewing lice control for cats and kittens. It kills all stages of brown dog ticks, American dog ticks, lone star ticks, and deer ticks (major carriers of Lyme disease). This potent formula kills fleas shortly after the parasite comes into contact with your cat's skin. There is no need for it to bite your cat for it to work. Moreover, if used as directed this insecticide continues to work even if your cat gets wet or is exposed to sunlight. It is safe and suitable to be used on cats and kittens 8 weeks and older and also for breeding, lactating, and pregnant cats.

Frontline Top Spot for Cats

Frontline Top Spot contains the active ingredient fipronil which is effective against fleas, ticks, and chewing lice. Fipronil accumulates in skin and hair follicle oils and then continues to be released from hair follicles onto the skin and coat, resulting in long-lasting action. The parasites are paralyzed and killed after 24 hours of administration due to its insecticidal characteristics.

The waterproof solution remains effective even after the pet gets wet and provides absolute protection for four weeks. It also aids in treating Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD).

Directions

Let your cat stand or sit in a comfortable position.
Part the fur at the base of the skull in such a way that the skin is visible.
Invert the Frontline Spot-On pipette such that the tip touches the skin.
Squeeze out the content until the pipette is empty.
Allow the application site to be completely dry.
Repeat on a monthly basis, if possible, then on the same date.
Consult a veterinarian before treating sick and debilitated cats.
Use on 8 weeks and older kittens, adult cats, pregnant and nursing cats.

Safety

Apply only on undamaged skin.
Do not use on kittens younger than 8 weeks of age.
Keep children and other pets away from the treated animal until the application site is completely dry.
Keep away from the pet’s eyes and mouth.
Wash hands with soap after applying Frontline Spot-On.
