Milprazon for Dogs

Milprazon for dogs is a meat-flavored oral broad-spectrum treatment for 4 weeks and older dogs that weigh at least 1.1lbs (0.5kg). Composed of two premium ingredients, milbemycin oxime and praziquantel, Milprazon tablets are indicated for the treatment of mixed infections caused by the following juvenile and adult stages of tapeworms and roundworms:

• Tapeworms (Cestodes): Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus spp, and Mesocestoides spp.
• Roundworms (Nematodes): Ancylostoma caninum, Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Trichuris vulpis, Crenosoma vulpis, Angiostrongylus vasorum, and Trichuris vulpis

Milprazon tablets for dogs can also be used in the prevention of heartworm disease if collateral tapeworm treatment is indicated. This oral worm treatment is may be used in pregnant and lactating dogs.

• Measure dog's weight for accurate dosage administration.
• Standard minimum recommended dose is 0.5 mg of milbemycin oxime and 5 mg of praziquantel for every 2.2lbs of body weight orally, once orally.
• For best protection, Milprazon should be given with or after some food.
• When used for heartworm prevention and tapeworm treatment is required at the same time, Milprazon can replace monovalent heartworm treatment.
• Follow the dosage table below for accurate dosing:

• Keep the blister in the outer carton.
• Halved tablets should be stored below 25°C in the original blister.
• Keep away from the reach of children and pets.

Precautions:

• Not recommended for dogs weighing less than1lbs (0.5kg) of body weight
• Avoid using in known cases of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients
