• Weigh your dog to determine the correct dosage strength.
• Treatment with Sentinel Spectrum Chews may begin at any time of the year.
• Always administer Sentinel to dogs immediately after or in conjunction with a normal meal for adequate absorption.
• Administer Sentinel Spectrum orally at monthly intervals, preferably on the same day of the month.
• The chews may be offered by hand or added to a small quantity of dog food. Give the chew in a manner that encourages the dog to chew it rather than swallow it whole.
• For dogs that normally swallow treats whole, the chews may be broken into pieces and fed. It is necessary to ensure that the dog consumes the complete dose. If you suspect that any of the dose has been lost, redose.
• For heartworm prevention, administer at monthly intervals beginning within one month of the dog's first seasonal exposure to mosquitoes and continue until at least six months after the dog's last seasonal exposure.
• When replacing another heartworm preventive with Sentinel Spectrum, administer the first dose within 30 days after the last dose of the former treatment.

Sentinel Spectrum Chews Dosing Guide:

Sentinel Spectrum Chews are not for use in humans. You should keep this product out of reach of children, pets and uninformed people. Before administration, it is necessary to test your dog for existing heartworm infection. In case the dog is infected with heartworms, consult a vet to treat the infection.

Do not use Sentinel Spectrum in puppies under six weeks of age or less than two pounds of body weight. The safe use of Sentinel Spectrum has not been evaluated in breeding or lactating female dogs.
