Adaptil Collar consists of DAP that provides a natural and convenient way to manage stress-related behavior in dogs. It has been developed to provide comfort to dogs and puppies from stressful situations. It aids sensitivity to behavior therapy and training. It is helpful for dogs that are coming home for the very first time, during socialization training, dogs with fear and anxiety, rescue dogs and dogs that are fearful during traveling and going to the vets.

Adaptil Collar works by presenting the dog with subtle pheromones that aid in calming him down. Pheromones are a type of chemical developed naturally through different systems in your dog's body. They play a significant role to dictate desirable behaviors. Adaptil collar emits pheromones that mimic those produced by a mother dog. These pheromones are first encountered by a puppy during the early days. It represents calmness and relaxation. In the presence of these pheromones, even the most anxious or aggressive dogs tend to become sober and well-mannered.

• Keep a finger in the plastic loop situated in the inside of the collar close to the buckle.
• Employ this loop to pull the thin plastic to uncoil the collar.
• Attach the collar.
• Place it over the head of the dog and tie it loosely around the neck.
• Tighten the collar to fit snugly with your dog's skin.
• Ensure that there is a space of two fingers between the collar and the dog's skin.
• The collar should be fixed inside the buckle.
• If there is any excess portion cut it off from the collar.
• This treatment will last for four full weeks.
• Replace the collar as required.
• The collar should remain on the dog all the time, except when you are shampooing the dog.
• The duration of use must be determined by the nature/cause of the fear and according to the duration of combined behavior therapy.\

• Ensure that the collar is not chewed by the dog.
• If your dog has an extensive skin lesions do not buckle the collar on him.
• Open the collar only when you want to buckle it on the dog's neck since it contains canine appeasing pheromone as an active ingredient.
• Pheromones have no effect on any other pet expect dogs.
• Remove the collar for bathing or shampooing the dog and replace it after the dog's coat is dry since the collar will not release pheromone when wet.
• This product is safe to be used on pregnant dogs or if pregnant humans are present in the household.
