Bravecto Plus – Flea, Tick & Heartworm Protection for Cats

Bravecto Plus for Cats is an extended-duration protection that lasts twice as long as monthly treatments. This long-lasting solution allows you to ensure continuous coverage for your cat with fewer doses, providing you with peace of mind and reducing stress for your feline friend.

With a powerful combination of fluralaner and moxidectin, Bravecto Plus topical cat treatment provides superior control against both internal and external parasites. A single dose protects your cat against fleas, ticks, heartworms and intestinal worms for two months. It is the first product in the USA that protects against the Asian longhorned tick. Bravecto Plus two-monthly treatment helps improve compliance for you and minimizes gaps in protection for your cat. It is available in three different weight-specific packs to suit cats of various sizes.

Recommended For:

  • Kittens & cats.
  • Bravecto Plus is recommended for kittens and cats from 6 months of age and weighing 2.6 lbs or greater.

Bravecto Plus For Cats Coverage:

  • Prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis.
  • Treats infections with roundworm and hookworm.
  • Kills adult fleas.
  • Treats & prevents flea infestations.
  • Treats & controls tick infestations (black-legged tick, American dog tick, Asian longhorned tick & Gulf Coast tick).

Why Should You Buy Bravecto Plus?

  • Formulated with a unique dual-action formula (fluralaner, moxidectin) that is twice as tough on parasites.
  • Provides broad-spectrum protection against internal & external pests for 2 months.
  • Ideal for cats that do not enjoy frequent treatments.
  • Works quickly and provides comprehensive flea efficacy, killing 100% of fleas within 12 hours after treatment (according to a laboratory study referred to in the product label).
  • 2-month efficacy minimizes gaps in protection resulting from missed doses of monthly products.

How Does Bravecto Plus Topical For Cats Work?

Bravecto Plus combines two active ingredients, fluralaner and moxidectin. This dual-action formula delivers a broader protection against both external and internal parasites for an extended duration.

After you apply Bravecto Plus, the active formula quickly reaches tissue fluids under your cat’s skin. When parasites feed, they ingest the solution. Fluralaner targets external parasites, including fleas and ticks. Moxidectin is effective against hookworms, roundworms and heartworms.

A laboratory study suggested that Bravecto Plus kills 100% of fleas within 12 hours after treatment. It reduces the number of active fleas on cats by more than 99% within 12 hours after treatment or infestation for two months. The lab studies also indicated that the treatment achieved more than 90% efficacy against tick species 72 hours post-treatment.

Directions
  • Just before use, open the pouch of Bravecto Plus and take an applicator tube out. Wear gloves.
  • Hold the applicator tube in an upright position at the crimped end (tip up).
  • Rotate the cap clockwise or counterclockwise one full turn. When you feel the breaking of the seal, the tube is open and ready for application.
  • Let the cap stay on the tube and do not remove it.
  • When applying the solution, the cat should be standing or lying with its back horizontal.
  • Part the cat's fur until the skin is visible and place the tip of the applicator tube vertically against the skin at the base of the cat's skull.
  • Squeeze the applicator and gently apply the entire contents of the treatment directly to the cat's skin.
  • Do not apply an excessive amount of liquid at one spot that causes some of the liquid to run and drip off the cat. If you need a second spot for the application, apply the second spot behind the first spot.
  • For heartworm prevention, administer Bravecto Plus at 2-month intervals and give year-round without interruption. It can be administered at least at 2-month intervals beginning at the cat's first seasonal exposure to mosquitoes and continuing until the cat's last seasonal exposure to mosquitoes.
  • If you miss a dose or the interval between doses is exceeded, give one dose immediately and resume dosing every 2 months.
  • When replacing a monthly heartworm preventive, administer the first dose of Bravecto Plus within one month of the last dose of the former treatment.
