Drontal Chewable for Dogs 10 Kg (22 lbs) is a broad-spectrum formula, designed to protect your furry friends against a range of intestinal worms. A single chew is effective against roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms. This dog worming treatment comes in a palatable chew for hassle-free administration. For all-around coverage, it may be combined with other common dog treatments, such as flea and tick treatment or heartworm preventives. Drontal Chew for worms may be given to all dogs, including young puppies, senior dogs, working dogs and greyhounds.

Drontal Chewable Coverage:

• Indicated for the treatment and control of roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms.
• Helps control the shedding of cysts of the protozoan Giardia spp.

Active Ingredients:

250 mg Febantel, 49.8 mg Pyrantel (as embonate), 50.0 mg Praziquantel

How to Use Drontal Puppy Suspension?

• Shake the bottle well before use.
• Administer 1 ml per 2.2 lbs of body weight.
• Treat the puppy and all others in contact with dogs.
• Treat at 2 weeks of age followed by 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks of age.
• Once the puppy reaches 12 weeks of age, treat monthly until 6 months of age and every 3 months thereafter.
• For whipworms, treat every 6-8 weeks.

How to Use Drontal Chewables?

• Weigh your dog to administer appropriate dosage.
• Fasting before dosing is not necessary.
• Administer the chew directly by mouth. If the dog does not take the chew directly, crush and mix it with your dog's food.
• Never allow dogs to feed on the offal of any species.
• For puppies, treat at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks of age. Then at 5 and 6 months of age.
• For adults (over 6 months of age), treat every 3 months. Treat every 6 weeks in hydatid tapeworm-infested locations. For whipworms, retreat every 6-8 weeks.
• For pregnant & lactating dogs, treat at mating, then 10 days before whelping and 2 and 4 weeks after whelping, followed by every 3 months.
• For Giardia infection, administer the recommended dosage for 3 consecutive days.

Drontal Chewable Dosing Guide:

The safety of Drontal Chewables has not been evaluated during the first and second parts of pregnancy and therefore it is not recommended during these periods. Do not allow dogs to eat offal.

Do not use Drontal Puppy Suspension and Drontal Chewables in puppies younger than two weeks of age. Do not use Drontal Plus in pregnant animals and puppies under 3 weeks of age. Take strict hygienic precautions when handling dog feces.

Storage Guide:

• Store Drontal Puppy Suspension and Drontal Chewable below 30°C (at room temperature).
• Drontal Plus should be stored at controlled room temperature between 59-86°F (15-30°C).
