Milprazon for Cats

Milprazon for cats is an oral broad-spectrum treatment for 6 weeks and older kittens and cats that weigh at least 1.1lbs (0.5kg). Composed of two premium ingredients, milbemycin oxime and praziquantel, Milprazon tablets are indicated for the treatment of mixed infections caused by the following juvenile and adult stages of tapeworms and roundworms:

• Tapeworms (Cestodes): Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus multilocularis
• Roundworms (Nematodes): Ancylostoma tubaeforme and Toxocaracati

Milprazon tablets for cats can also be used in the prevention of heartworm disease if collateral tapeworm treatment is indicated. This oral worm treatment is safe to use in pregnant and lactating cats.

• Measure cat's weight for accurate dosage administration.
• Standard minimum recommended dose is 2 mg of milbemycin oxime and 5 mg of praziquantel for every 2.2lbs of body weight orally as a single dose.
• For best protection, Milprazon should be given with or after some food.
• It can be useful in heartworm prevention if treatment against tapeworm is indicated; however, for regular heartworm protection, single drug treatment should be preferred.
• Follow the dosage table below for accurate dosing:

• For animal use only.
• Keep the blister in the outer carton.
• Halved tablets should be stored below 25°C in the original blister.
• Keep away from the reach of children and pets.

Precautions:

• Not recommended for cats weighing less than 4.4 lbs.
• Avoid using in known cases of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients
