Selehold is an effective and practical spot-on treatment for multiple dog parasites. It protects dogs from fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, ticks, roundworms, ear mites, and biting lice. It also prevents sarcoptic mange and heartworm disease. Selehold is a monthly treatment, so it should be administered only once a month. This potent topical formulation is also safe for breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs.
The key ingredient of Selehold is selamectin, which paralyzes and/or kills parasites by disrupting their neurotransmission. This leads to paralysis and/or the death of the parasites.
Selehold has the same composition (selamectin) as that of Revolution and Stronghold but is very cost-effective as compared to them.
