Directions

Sentinel monthly flea and worm tablets for dogs contain active ingredients lufenuron and milbemycin oxime. Lufenuron works as an insect growth inhibitor. After a bloodmeal, the female flea ingests lufenuron that is deposited in its eggs. It prevents the majority of flea eggs from hatching or maturing, thus breaking the flea life cycle and preventing and controlling flea populations.

Milbemycin oxime interferes with invertebrate neurotransmission. It eliminates the tissue stage of heartworm larvae as well as the adult stage of hookworm, roundworm and whipworm infestations when administered as indicated on the label.

As per studies using experimental flea infestations referenced in the label, lufenuron delivered more than 95% control of flea egg development with a single dose.
