Eqvalan Gold Paste for Horses

Eqvalan Gold is a multi-spectrum formula to treat a variety of worm infections in horses of all ages. Made in an easy-to-use paste form, this composition treats and controls roundworms, tapeworms, pinworms, small and large strongyles, hairworms, neck threadworms, threadworms, ascarids, lungworms, large-mouth stomach worms, and bots. When administered as indicated, Eqvalan Gold is also effective in treating summer sores and dermatitis. Regular use of Eqvalan Paste will diminish the possibilities of verminous arteritis and colic caused by Strongylus vulgaris and Anoplocephala and Paranoplocephala species.

• Eqvalan Gold Paste should be given to horses orally with a disposable syringe.
• The standard dosage is 200µg of ivermectin and 1mg praziquantel per 2.2lbs(1kg) of body weight.
• Rotate the knurled ring to 1/4 turn to the left, sliding it along the shaft, and set the barrel at the appropriate weight marked on it.
• Rotate the plunger ring 1/4 turn to the right to lock it in its place.
• After removing the syringe cap, insert the syringe tip into horse’s mouth and depress the plunger till the end.
• Raise horse’s head for some time to make sure the complete dose is ingested.
• Each weight marking on the syringe plunger dispatches enough quantity to treat animals with 220lbs (100kg) body weight.
• A single Eqvalan Gold Paste syringe contains enough paste to treat a 1320 lbs (600kg) horse.

Mares:

Administer regularly at 6-8 week intervals at the time of summer and autumn

Stallions:

Give at least two times a year

Foals:

Administer at 6-8 week intervals

• It is necessary to treat all pregnant mares
• Do not use in large animals under 6 months of age
• Do not slaughter horses for human consumption within 14 days of treatment
• Keep out of reach of children and animals
• Wash hands with soap and water after handling
