Interceptor Spectrum Coverage:

• Prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis.
• Treats & controls roundworm infections.

Active Ingredients:

Milbemycin oxime 2.3 mg, Praziquantel 22.8 mg.

• Weigh your dog to determine the correct dosage strength.
• Administer Interceptor Plus orally at monthly intervals, preferably on the same day of the month. It can be offered to the dog by hand.
• Alternatively, it can be offered with a small amount of dog food or as other tablets.
• Observe your dog closely after administration to ensure it consumes the entire dose. If the entire dose is not taken, give a full recommended dose immediately.
• Administer the first dose within one month of the dog's first exposure to mosquitoes, followed by a monthly dosing until at least 6 months after the dog’s last seasonal exposure.
• When switching from another heartworm preventive product to Interceptor Plus, administer the first dose within 30 days of the last dose of the former product.
• If you miss a dose or if treatment is delayed, immediately give a dose of Interceptor Plus and resume the dosing schedule.
• For the control of intestinal worms, use Interceptor Plus (Interceptor Spectrum) every month. For puppies, the minimum recommended treatment is at 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks. In pregnant dogs, treat at mating and every month thereafter. Treat before whelping.

Interceptor Spectrum Dosing Guide:

Interceptor Spectrum is not effective against adult heartworms (Dirofilaria immitis). Test your dogs for existing heartworm infection before starting with heartworm preventive treatment. If your dog is infected, consult a vet to treat the disease and remove heartworms before starting a preventive program.

This treatment can be used in pregnant female dogs and breeding males and females. Do not use it in puppies under two weeks of age. Keep it away from the reach of children and pets.
