Panacur Granules 1 gm: Broad-spectrum Worming Treatment for Cats and Dogs
Panacur Granules (1 gm) is a broad-spectrum dewormer for cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies. Formulated with fenbendazole, it treats infections from major worms in pets, namely roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and certain tapeworms. The granule form makes the dosage convenient, as you can mix it into your pet’s food for easy acceptance. You can also use this oral treatment in pregnant pets to help protect the newborn litters from the transmission of worms.
Panacur Granules Coverage
When administered as directed, Panacur worming solution provides wide parasite coverage. It is indicated for:
- Treatment of cats and dogs infected with immature and mature stages of nematodes of the gastrointestinal and respiratory tracts
- Treatment of adult cats and dogs infected with gastrointestinal nematodes and cestodes:

Ascarid spp. (Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina)
- Ancylostoma spp. Trichuris spp. Uncinaria spp. Taenia spp.
How Does Panacur Work?
Panacur Granules contain fenbendazole as an active ingredient. This powerful ingredient disrupts the energy metabolism of parasites and starves them, resulting in the death of parasites.

- No side effects on dogs and cats
- Comes in easy to dose granules for quick administration
- Mix the granules with food and administer it.
- Ensure the entire meal is taken by the pet for a complete dosage.
- Administer 100mg fenbendazole per 1kg (2.2lb) bodyweight as a single dose.
- Adult dogs and cats should be wormed routinely 2 to 4 times a year, 6 to 8 times in higher-risk situations e.g. breeding kennels and catteries
- Puppies and kittens should be treated from 2 weeks old and then 3 to 4 more times until the age of 12 weeks.
Dosage:
- 1 g sachet /dose: Treats 2kg (4.4lb) bodyweight as a single dose (1.1 – 2.2kgs)
- 1.8 g sachet / dose: Treats 4kg (8.8lb) bodyweight as a single dose (2.2 – 4.4kgs)
- 4.5 g sachet /dose: Treats 10kg (22lb) bodyweight as a single dose (5 – 10kgs)
- For oral use in animals only.
- It should be kept out of reach of children.
- Read the label completely and follow the directions for use.
- Wash your hands thoroughly after handling the product.
- Keep direct contact of the product with your skin to a minimum.
- Avoid inhalation of granule dust.
