Promectin Plus is a broad-spectrum wormer, designed to treat and control internal parasites in equines of all ages and breeds. It protects horses against large strongyles, small strongyles, pinworms, ascarids, hairworms, large-mouthed stomach worms, neck threadworms, bots, lungworms and intestinal threadworms. The treatment is capable of removing both immature and adult stages of parasites.

Promectin Plus

Promectin Plus is formulated by combining abamectin and praziquantel. Besides treating and controlling parasites, the treatment also controls skin lesions caused by Habronema and Draschia spp. and also controls summer sores and cutaneous onchocerciasis.

• Measure the weight of your horse to decide on the appropriate dosage.
• Administer 0.2 mg/kg (0.2mg/2.2 lbs) abamectin and 2.5 mg/kg (2.5mg/2.2 lbs) praziquantel.
• Each marking on the syringe treats 110.0 lbs (50 kg) of body weight.
• The total content of the syringe treats 1320 lbs (600 kg) of body weight.
• Include all horses in the parasite control program, with special emphasis on mares, foals and yearlings.
• Seek a vet’s advice for a control program that meets the particular needs of your pet.

• To be used on horses only.
• Should not be used less than 28 days before slaughter for human consumption.
• Keep away from children, pets and uninformed individuals.
• If poisoning occurs, seek immediate medical advice.
• Store below 30 Degrees Celsius, away from sunlight.
• Do not eat, eat or smoke while handling the treatment.
• Wash hands with soap and water after handling the product.
